Size: 9" x 6 1/2". Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Brown cloth over boards with gilt stamping on spine, 243 pages, two frontispiece portrait engravings. Wear at extremities, especially at corners and spine ends, text block cracked after table of contents, all pages still attached, previous owner's name in ink on a front flyleaf.
