Dark sage cloth boards with gilt titles and decoration on spine and upper board. 153 pages, 25 tipped colour plates with captioned tissue protectors.(all as required) Frontispiece is creased, others are fine. All plates by Sidney Meteyard, engraved and printed by Henry Stone. Quality paper. All-in-all a very impressive quality book. The Poem was first published in 1851, and is loosely based on the 13th century work of the same name. Please note this is a heavy book and will attract extra postage outaside the UK.
