New edition. 8vo up to 9½" tall., 476pp. with 235 black and white illustrations and a map of Ceylon. Green cloth boards with gilt illustration to front, gilt titles front and spine, all edges gilt, dark green endpapers. Small closed tears to margin of map; hinges weakened although all pages holding fast; pages remain white and clean. Bumping and rubbing to edges of boards. In very good condition.
