Steele, a house pseudonym used by the Stratemeyer Syndicate for their series of mystery books. The Stratemeyer Syndicate was a publishing company that produced a number of mystery book series for children, including Nancy Drew and The Hardy Boys. In the original blue cloth binding. Externally, smart with light shelf wear and rubbing to the extremities. Hinges starting but firm. Original price-clipped dust wrapper is sound with shelf wear and light chipping resulting in minor loss to the extremities. The odd small closed tear with a 2" closed tear to the rear panel. Light age toning. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout. Very Good.
