What shot do I hit from here? How do I recover from a bad shot or a bad hole? How do I feel more comfortable on the course? Sedan answers these questions and more in a creative, modern style.
"Jason does the important work of sorting through what’s out there and combining it with what he’s learned from other places to build a program that works for him and for his students. That relentless curiosity and desire to improve is a fantastic formula for a young teacher."—Golf Digest 50 Best Teacher Andrew Rice
"This book is filled with nuggets of information that Jason has discovered through thousands of hours of playing, teaching and studying the sport. Keen golfers are certain to pick up new ideas that can help them shoot lower scores and gain an edge over their playing partners."—Golf Magazine Top 100 Teacher Henry Brunton
A PGA Certified Professional, Jason was recently named to Golf Digest's list of the 100 "Best Young Teachers in America" for 2016-'17 ad ranked the #1 teacher in New Hampshire. Prior to joining Lake Winnipesaukee, he served as the Director of Instruction at Upper Montclair Country Club in Clifton, N.J. for three seasons, and managed the day-to-day operations at PGA Village in Port St. Lucie, Fla. Jason also assisted with the golf schools and taught private lessons at the 35-acre PGA Center for Golf Learning and Performance, also in Port St. Lucie. It was there that he observed and learned from many of the best coaches in the game today, Joe Hallett, Michael Hebron, Todd Anderson, Laird Small, Rick Martino, and T.J. Tomasi.
Jason continues to host Fore Door Golf Schools at the PGA Center for Learning and Performance through the winter months. It is an ideal haven for culminating through all four doors and applying the craft of How the Game Works on one of 63 championship or practice holes at PGA Village.
A K-Vest Level 3 Certified Biomechanist and TPI Certified Golf Fitness Instructor, Jason's precision in helping golfers develop their most efficient swing goes well beyond swing preferences. He believes it's critical to match a student's swing to their body mechanics. An accomplished player himself, Jason qualified for the 2010 and 2012 PGA Professional National Match Play Championship and was runner-up at the 2012 NJPGA Pro Pro Championship.
