Goliath the Cruncher

A Rhyming Bible Story for Children about Faith, Courage, and God’s Big Plan
Introduce your child to one of the most beloved Bible stories—told in fun, easy-to-read rhyme and brought to life with whimsical illustrations. This Christian children’s book retells the story of David and Goliath in a way that is engaging, age-appropriate, and full of heart.
Written especially for children ages 5–8, this faith-based picture book follows David when he was still a shepherd boy, learning to trust God before he ever wore a crown. As the rhyme unfolds, young readers discover how God delights in using the small, the brave, and the faithful to do great things.
More than a classic Old Testament Bible story, this book gently connects David’s life to God’s greater story of salvation. Children will begin to see how David points forward to Jesus—the true Shepherd-King—making this a meaningful introduction to how the Old and New Testaments fit together.
Perfect for bedtime reading, homeschooling, Sunday school, and Christian classrooms, this rhyming Bible story helps children grow in faith while enjoying a story they’ll want to hear again and again.
