With a new foreword by David Chanda, Director, N. J. Division of Fish and Wildlife, this book covers the top places to fish in the Garden State, freshwater and saltwater alike. The book was first published by Rutgers University Press and they sold out all three editions and turned the rights over to Gone Fishin' Enterprises to reprint it in 8/08. The new book covers two more locations and now gives G. P. S. numbers for eight Artificial Reef sites. Wherever an angler wants to fish, and whatever they seek to catch, "Gone Fishin' The 100 Best Spots in New Jersey" gives directions to each venue, as well as what kinds of fish can be found thereat and how to catch them!

Manny Luftglass has written and/or published eighteen books since 1994, and has more than 2,500 "Gone Fishin" articles and columns published since 1971. A retired insurance agent and former two-term Mayor of Somerville, N. J., he now fishes and writes about. Ron Bern, co-author, is usually found in the bow seat of the "Gone Fishin' IV when he is not at home working on yet another novel. He has had seven books published including The Legacy and Mule Maddox, novels, and is a member of Who's Who in America".
