The Good Bad Kids: Fast Food Fred

Fred secretly trades his boring lunches for exciting ones but soon discovers the downside of such a dietary switch-a-roo.

An all you can eat buffet of rhymes, adventure and beautifully detailed images, with a not-so-subtle nod to the importance of healthy eating.

"At school the next day, lunch went out of routine, as a classmate had coupons to get free poutine! "Here you go, take that there, oops don't drop it" said Stu. Then he reached out to Fred. "And this last one's for you!"

Alright, so, if you must know, I've loved storytelling with all my heart since I was a kid. I loved the engagement, the process, the sense of discovery and desired to uncover its secrets. I saw it as the biggest challenge I could take on, to make something from nothing, that nobody would really need unless it was truly exceptional. As I grew up, that passion always stayed with me. 'Create vs consume' along with other lessons eventually led me to take a more disciplined approach, to quit my job at 25 and completely dedicate myself to the craft. My first book, 'Fast Food Fred' I wrote partially by mistake during a break from other writing projects. Without the fear of making mistakes or having to be perfect, which on reflection, had been holding me back, the magic happened. I hope you enjoy it!-T
