I have always loved a good guy reluctant hero in books, movies, and television. Add a supernatural twist where the hero can see into the future or the past and change it, and I'm hooked! None of it would work for me if there wasn't plenty of action and adventure woven into a suspenseful thriller. With this series, I took all the elements of a story I longed to read, combined with a character I wanted to come alive and meet, and wrote The Mark Taylor Series.
In No Good Deed, I had read in the news about an actual American held as an enemy combatant--think Guantanamo Bay, aka, Gitmo. I didn't feel sorry for the guy because, hey, he got what he deserved, right? But wait! How horrible would it be if you were completely innocent of the charges, but had no way to tell anyone or prove your innocence?

I hope you'll enjoy reading No Good Deed as much as I have enjoyed writing it.
