ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Dr. Tom Walsh, DVM, CCAT, CCRP, MBA, is a veterinarian, small-animal rehabilitation specialist, and the creator of the Coerenza Approach.

After a successful career in telecommunications, Dr. Tom followed his lifelong calling to help animals. He spent nearly a decade in general veterinary practice before devoting his work to rehabilitation and physical therapy. He founded PrimePet Rehabilitation Therapy as a mobile service and later expanded it into a dedicated rehabilitation center in downtown Myrtle Beach.

Through his clinical work, Dr. Tom has helped thousands of animals recover from injury, regain mobility, and enjoy healthier, more active lives. His experiences with dogs, their families, and fellow veterinary professionals inspired him to develop the Coerenza Approach, a whole-dog framework built around Exercise, Enrichment, Environment, Nutrition, and Responsibility.
