With his wife, Martha, he founded Maric College in San Diego, CA, where he served as President for three and half years and Chairman of the Board for another eight. Maric is an accredited paramedical school for training nurses and allied health professionals. Dick is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, and has a master's degree in organizational psychology and a Ph.D. in business administration.
