About the Authors
Richard Towner received an Ed.D. degree in guidance and counseling and in educational research and statistics from the University of Cincinatti. He currently serves as executive director for the Good $ense Stewardship Movement of the Willow Creek Association. He is also on the boards of the Christian Stewardship Association and the President’s Council of Christian Management Association. Involved in presenting programs to professional organizations throughout his career, he lives with his wife, Sibyl, in South Barrington, Illinois.
John Tofilon is a senior vice president with an investment banking firm. An active member of Willow Creek Community Church from its beginnings, John has served in several church ministries including Good $ense, where he uses his financial expertise to help others faithfully manage their resources.
