Likely First Edition dated 1887 on the title page with matching dates. Tightly bound in green cloth with gilded titles and textblock edges. The binding shows moderate shelf and edge wear only. Cartoon plates are bright. Very slight spots and wrinkles to endpapers and slight separation at pps. 32/33, otherwise Very Good. This copy is from a 19th Century private lending institution, the Mercantile Library of New York City. There are no external indications of the library's ownership. The Mercantile Library stamp/number and some penciling are on the title page and some of the internal pages.
