Likely First Edition, 1890. Bound in blue cloth with gilded titles and textblock edges. The binding shows slight shelf wear only. Cartoon plates are bright. Very slight separating at front endpaper, binding remains firm. This copy is from a 19th Century private lending institution, the Mercantile Library of New York City. There are no external indications of the library's ownership. The Mercantile Library stamp/number and some penciling are on the title page and some of the internal pages.
