Likely First Edition dated 1889 on the title page with matching dates. Bound in dark rust cloth with gilded titles and textblock edges. The binding shows very light edge wear, remains Very Good. Cartoon plates are bright. Slight separation at title page hinge (not affecting binding integrity). This copy is from a 19th Century private lending institution, the Mercantile Library of New York City. There are no external indications of the library's ownership. The Mercantile Library stamp/number and penciling are on the title page and some of the internal pages. Remains a nice copy.
