The Gospel of Ashes (Paperback or Softback)

Coup d'état USA

While searching for Phan's missing daughter, Boston residents Mei Li Phan and Landry Carmichael stumble into a massive conspiracy.

Their search threatens powerful forces seeking radical change. So now, they must die.

The conspiracy: nuke a major American city.

Carmichael and Phan are labeled terrorists, hunted by authorities, killers on their trail.

Where can they go? Who can they trust?

But past is prologue. Mei Li Phan is not what she seems; Carmichael no stranger to violence. They must each relive painful history to muster strength to survive.

But strength is not enough. Can they mobilize the courage and the cunning?

Can they survive long enough to save the lives of millions? To save the USA as we know it?

I'm an indie novelist/publisher. My works include: o The Gospel of Ashes - a thriller: Mei Li Phan and Landry Carmichael stumble into a massive conspiracy involving powerful forces seeking fundamental change. They're framed as terrorists, hunted by authorities and targeted by ruthless killers. The conspiracy: nuke a major American city. o Freein' Pancho - novel: Calvin Moore, a talented young horseman who confronts grief, guilt, love, death, and the fragility of friendship and family as he struggles with life-altering choices over the course of one hot summer. o Aya Takeo - a manga for web and print (with artist Sonia Leong): A story of space, time, civilation and star-crossed love. It's a story for our time set in a distant wrinkle of space where some things are familiar and others are forever surprising. El Tiburon, my next thriller, is well underway. I've edited and published magazines; written and produced corporate communication; taught graduate and undergraduate writing, media, and public communication courses; written and developed more than 100 educational and consumer software products for major publishers.
