He has published numerous academic works, including his latest, Christ Died for Our Sins. He s also published popular books and articles on racism and racial reconciliation. He s a member of the Society of Biblical Literature.

Curtis A. Woods is Associate Executive Director for the Kentucky Baptist Convention. He holds undergraduate and graduate level degrees in social work, urban studies, and pastoral theology. He is a PhD candidate in Biblical Spirituality at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville, KY. He resides in Louisville with his wife and three sons.
