Geschildert wird das Leben und Wirken von Gottlob Frege (1848-1925), einem der gr��ten Denker der Neuzeit, der in Wismar aufwuchs und der sp�ter inmitten der kleineren, aber durch bedeutende Gelehrte und Industrielle aufbl�henden Universit�tsstadt Jena als Mathematikprofessor t�tig war. Seine schon 1879 verfasste 'Begriffsschrift' revolutionierte die Logik, auf der heute die modernen Wissenschaften und die Computertechnik fu�en. Weitere bedeutende Werke aus dem Umfeld von Logik, Mathematik und Philosophie folgten. Noch heute wird sein wissenschaftliches Erbe weltweit diskutiert.

Das Autorenehepaar Dr. Edith Framm und Dr. Joachim Framm, Jahrgang 1944, war als �rztin beziehungsweise als Apotheker bei und in Wismar t�tig. 2007 erschienen von Edith Framm die Romanbiografie ‚Ein Mecklenburger Apothekerleben‘ und 2014 der Roman ‚Ein Bauernleben in Mecklenburg‘. 2016 gaben Framms, gemeinsam mit Uwe Otto und Mechthild Gl�cklich, die ‚Erinnerungen eines Mecklenburger Kaufmanns‘ von Friedrich Wilhelm Otto heraus. 2019 schrieben sie die Romanbiografie ‚Albrecht Kossel und die DNA. Ein Nobelpreistr�ger aus Mecklenburg‘.

Der Autor Prof. Dr. habil. Dieter Schott, Jahrgang 1949, arbeitete vorwiegend auf dem Gebiet der Mathematik, von 1994 bis 2014 an der Hochschule Wismar. Im Jahre 2000 gr�ndete er dort das Gottlob-Frege-Zentrum, das er bis 2010 leitete und dem er noch immer angeh�rt. Er ver�ffentlichte bisher mehr als 100 wissenschaftliche Artikel mit einem breiten Spektrum an Themen. Dar�ber hinaus ist er als Autor, Koautor und Herausgeber von verschiedenen Fachb�chern und wissenschaftlichen Zeitschriften bekannt.
