The 1856 printing of the 1854 Revised Edition. Gray paper boards with a leather spine. General soiling on the covers, modest wear on the corners, and along the edges of the spine. Binding remains tight and square. Some light foxing, mostly in the early pages, and the rear f.e.p. has been removed.

Friends of the Curtis Memorial Library, based in Brunswick, Maine is a non-profit corporation that exists solely to assist the Curtis Memorial Library in its many activities, principally through fundraising by the sale of used books. Operating through a retail outlet located at 200 Maine St. in Brunswick and through its on-line sales activities, Curtis Friends operates only with volunteers from the local community and sells only those books donated by its constituents. Curtis Friends has been in existence for several decades.
