Governmental Programmes for Rural Development

Several policy measures have been implemented in India since the inception of developmental planning in India for rural and tribal development. This book is perhaps the first of its kind explaining the plentiful implementation and evaluation of governmental interventional programmes like DPAP, IRDP, MNP, NREP, MWS, TRYSEM, JRY, IAY, RLEGP etc. The impact of such developmental programme on the village people in a rural and tribal dominated district of Rayagada (Orissa) has been studied at length.
