Help your child move beyond basic arithmetic and start thinking more deeply about how math works.
Grade 3–4 Math Made Fun gives children 100 hands-on activities designed to strengthen number sense, build calculation fluency, and develop the multiplication, division, fraction, measurement, geometry, data, and problem-solving skills they need as mathematics becomes more challenging.
Part of the NumberBloom series, this book helps children learn through objects, models, drawings, games, investigations, and real-world situations—not memorization and worksheets alone.
Children are encouraged to build the math, recognize patterns, choose strategies, estimate, explain their reasoning, and check their answers.
INSIDE YOU’LL FIND 100 ACTIVITIES COVERING:
• Numbers and place value to 10,000
• Comparing, ordering, and rounding numbers
• Factors, multiples, and number patterns
• Multi-digit addition and subtraction
• Regrouping and mental math strategies
• Estimating sums and differences
• Multiplication facts and arrays
• Multiplication and division relationships
• Two-digit by one-digit multiplication
• Division and remainders
• Fractions and number lines
• Equivalent and comparing fractions
• Mixed numbers
• Adding and subtracting fractions with like denominators
• Measurement, perimeter, and area
• Time, money, and making change
• Scaled bar graphs and line plots
• Geometry, angles, symmetry, and lines
• Multi-step word problems
• Mathematical reasoning and checking
FOUR PROGRESSIVE LEVELS BUILD SKILLS STEP BY STEP:
LEVEL 1 — PLACE VALUE, ROUNDING & NUMBER RELATIONSHIPS
Explore numbers to 10,000, place value, rounding, estimation, factors, multiples, and increasingly complex number patterns.
LEVEL 2 — MULTI-DIGIT OPERATIONS & FLUENCY
Strengthen addition, subtraction, multiplication facts, mental math, estimation, regrouping, and flexible calculation strategies.
LEVEL 3 — MULTIPLICATION, DIVISION & FRACTIONS
Develop deeper understanding of multiplication and division while exploring remainders, equivalent fractions, mixed numbers, fraction comparison, and fraction operations with visual models.
LEVEL 4 — MEASUREMENT, GEOMETRY, DATA & PROBLEM SOLVING
Apply math through area, perimeter, measurement, elapsed time, money, graphs, geometry, patterns, and multi-step real-world problems.
Every activity includes Skills & Goals, Materials, How to Play, Why This Matters, and a NumberBloom Tip so parents and educators understand both what children are practicing and why the skill matters.
PERFECT FOR:
• Grade 3 and Grade 4 students
• Homeschool families
• Extra math practice at home
• Parents, teachers, tutors, and caregivers
• Hands-on and visual learners
• Screen-free learning
• Building math confidence
• Strengthening foundations for more advanced math
Most activities use simple materials already found at home or in the classroom, making it easy to turn everyday moments into meaningful math practice.
Whether your child is working with larger numbers, strengthening multiplication and division, exploring fractions, measuring area and perimeter, interpreting data, or solving multi-step problems, NumberBloom helps them understand the math beneath the answer.
Build the skills. Understand the math. Grow the confidence.
Learn It. Build It. Play It. Master It.
NumberBloom — Growing Confident Math Thinkers.

Store description
**Please note our transit times are from the date of dispatch.** We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first purchase with us, or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
