About the Author
After 20 years in the field of crime fighting as a local police officer and FBI Special Agent, Dr. Green joined the faculty of the FBI Academy in 2003 where he currently serves as the Chief of Faculty Affairs. Dr. Green leads a faculty of professional educators and program managers who provide rich learning in a variety of venues at the Academy and throughout the world. He also oversees numerous leadership and faculty development initiatives including the FBI's Center for Teaching Excellence & the Center for Police Leadership & Ethics. Dr. Green still guest teaches in the FBI National Academy as well as a host of other domestic and international venues. Dr. Green also serves on the adjunct faculty of the University of Virginia and Capella University. Having earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees in a face-to-face setting and his doctorate in an online environment and having taught for years in both venues, Dr. Green is uniquely positioned to share invaluable insights and experiences concerning the world of online higher education.
