About the Author

Mary J. Anderson and Ginger Venable are known across America as the "Grad Party Ladies." With hundreds of parties under their belts, people come to them for common sense answers to questions big and small. Over 1,500 people go to their web site, www.GraduationParty.com everyday. Here is how they got started: When Mary J. Anderson's son, Ryan, graduated from high school she found few, if any, resources available to help her plan his graduation open house. After networking with other parents she discovered a wide variety of resources and hosted a memorable celebration. Since then she has interviewed hundreds of parents about their graduation parties, met with many caterers, event planners, rental companies, restaurant managers, entertainment providers, high school administrators and invitation printers. Ginger Venable is an event planner, writer and marketing professional who loves to host a party! As the mother of three, she has had plenty of experience entertaining large groups of kids and grown up kids alike. She manages the web site www.graduationparty.com.
