307 pp + 4 p ads, b/w illustrations and a frontis of the "Great Eastern" ship, the book is x-school library with a school bookplate that has been stamped over with another school's name, a small sticker bearing No 21 on the front free e.p.and pocket remnants on the rear endpaper, the lower spine seems to have had a shelf number also, the book and contents are solid and tight, the pages are browned and some have light foxing, the upper right margins have some light dampstain not affecting the text, the endpapers are marbelized, the lower right corner of the front free e.p. is missing ( 1/2" x 1 1/2" ), the covers are tight and have a leather spine with the title and author stated, under that is Ohio School Library stated, the leather spine has a 1" crack at the top of the rear spine gutter, the cloth covers have some soil and dampstain not affecting the contents, the edges and corners are worn, this is a very solid and usable book.
