The Great Pirate Syndicate

SF novel, serialised 19th February - 23rd July 1898 in Pick-Me-Up magazine. ''Red vertically ribbed cloth, gilt lettering on spine and front cover, publisher's monogram on back cover in blind, ten page publisher's catalogue at rear'' Locke: Spectrum Of Fantasy 1 p. 97). L. W. Currey (p. 209) says ''there are two states (printings?), priority if any unknown, this being one of the copies with ten pages of publisher's ads printed at the rear''. Sadly, lacking the frontispiece. Both free endpapers browned, a little spotting to first couple of pages, a VG+ copy, but missing the frontispiece.
