First Edition. First Edition. How to Make Great Short Feature Films: The Making of Ghosthunter by Ian Lewis is a practical, behind-the-scenes guide that uses the production of Ghosthunter as a case study to show how a short feature can be conceived, planned and executed on a tight budget. Lewis walks readers through scripting, casting, location work, shooting schedules and the realities of directing with limited resources, emphasising the creative problem-solving that keeps small productions moving. The accompanying DVD offers further insight into the process, illustrating how decisions on set translate into the finished film. It’s a tidy, hands-on volume that demystifies low-budget filmmaking and encourages newcomers to tackle their own projects with confidence. First Edition.
