Here is a gorgeous copy of "Green Mansions" by W.H. Hudson from 1944. The book comes with a slipcase and has color illustrations and a frontispiece. The illustrations remind of the character of oil paintings and some nice use of color texture. They really help to bring out the fictional romantic story of the characters Abel and Rima set in the tropical rain forest! Also, is a cool foreword from 1915 by John Galsworthy. Condition: ?VG(Very Good)-?This edition of the book is in overall nice shape! Has only small amounts of markings, staining and/or soiling. Boards and endpapers have some minor wear. Interior pages are crisp white with only the slightest amounts of foxing. The slip case has significant wear but still holds decent presentation.?.
