Green Synthesis of Silver Nanoparticles Using Matricaria chamomilla L.: Biosynthesized Silver Nanoparticle-Loaded Herbal Transdermal Patches for Antifungal Therapy

This book chapter discusses the development of a Novel herbal Antifungal Transdermal drug delivery system using Green-synthesized Silver Nanoparticles derived from Matricaria chamomilla L. It highlights the growing concern of fungal infections and the limitations of conventional antifungal therapies. The chapter focuses on eco-friendly nanoparticle synthesis, formulation of herbal transdermal patches, and evaluation of their antifungal activity against Candida albicans.
