When it comes to saving money on heating, old steam systems are delicious, low-hanging fruit. There is so much you can do to make them better, and most of what you can do won't cost a fortune. It's not that easy, inexpensive, or even practical to rip out an old steam system and start anew, and that's why so many of them are still around. In this book, I'm going to walk you through those old systems, tell you some great success stories, and show you how to increase efficiency and save fuel dollars. You'll be amazed at how small changes can make a huge difference. Read this book and you'll be greening your heating system and your wallet.

Review
( ) Posted by Paul Fredricks on March 5, 2010 @ 11:52 PM Dan has done a great job with this book. Greening Steam takes you easily though each part of a steam system and shows you how each should operate, what can go wrong, and how to get the system back to the state of efficiency and comfort that the original installers intended. It is a great aid to both home owners and heating professionals. --HeatingHelp.com customer
--HeatingHelp.com customer ( ) Posted by Neal on February 25, 2010 @ 9:56 AM How terrific is this book? I'm a guy who grew up in Florida and moved back to Chicago. If it isn't air conditioning or waving palm fronds over a block of ice, I've never heard of it. The previously abstruse concepts of steam heat now make perfect sense. I'm turning pages faster than a John Grisham novel. Thank you for giving the Dead Men such a clear, understandable, and fascinating voice. And for giving us such a pleasurable -- and valuable -- read. --HeatingHelp.com Customer
