Original publisher's white paper wrappers with staple binding. Black-and-white illustration and "San Diego, California Greeters' Guide for the Traveler; Up-to-Date Information on San Diego" printed on front cover. 5" x 6 3/4." Forty-eight pages, complete. Two black-and-white printed photographs and two small black-and-white maps, complete. The printed photos show La Jolla and San Juan Inn. The maps are "auto road maps" with one showing San Diego and vicinity and the other showing routes from Los Angeles to Camp Kearny and San Diego. Many black-and-white illustrated advertisements interspersed throughout. Pamphlet is very clean and intact except for a few wrinkles, age toning, and slight foxing on front cover. Binding is tight. A Very Good copy. An informative guide aimed toward visitors to San Diego. Published monthly by Frye & Smith. Excerpt from introductory text: "This booklet is compiled for the special guidance and information of the visitor to San Diego, and contains reliable and concise data as to points of interest in and about this locality." Includes descriptions of San Diego landmarks, trip suggestions, statistics, and time tables for a few transportation services. Among the businesses or services advertised are Hotel Churchill, Golden Gate Hotel, Hotel Sandford, Maryland Hotel, Golden Lion Tavern, Nisbet, Hotel Knickerbocker, E. C. Willis Auto Tours, Savoy Cafe, Morgan's Cafeteria, Kenilworth Inn, Pacific Steamship Company, Hotel Stowell, and the Palm Cafe.
