Ester R. A. Leutenberg is an author, publisher, and longtime advocate in the mental health field. Following the death of her son Mitchell by suicide in 1986 after an eight-year struggle with mental illness, she dedicated herself to creating resources that promote healing, resilience, and personal growth. Together with her daughter, Kathy Khalsa, she co-founded Wellness Reproductions & Publishing and began developing therapeutic materials to help facilitators support their clients. Over the years, Ester co-authored numerous resources used by counselors, educators, and group facilitators, including the Mental Health & Life Skills Workbook Series, the Teen Mental Health & Life Skills Workbook Series, the Coping Workbook Series, Creating a Healthy Balanced Life, GriefWork: Healing from Loss, The GriefWork Companion, and GriefWork for Teens. Her work has helped countless professionals and individuals navigate grief, strengthen coping skills, and promote emotional well-being.

Fran Zamore, MSW, ACSW, is a clinical social worker, marriage and family therapist, Reiki Master, and student of energy healing. She has extensive experience working with individuals, couples, and groups, and has led numerous workshops focused on personal growth, life transitions, and healing. Through her private practice and hospice work, Fran helps people navigate grief, loss, and the journey toward a new normal by integrating physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual awareness into her approach. Following the illness and death of her husband in 2005, her own healing journey deepened her understanding of bereavement and informed her professional work. Drawing on both personal experience and insights gained from facilitating bereavement groups and counseling individuals, Fran co-authored GriefWork: Healing from Loss, The GriefWork Companion, and GriefWork for Teens with Ester R. A. Leutenberg.
