Grimm The Reaper: The Professor's Quota

Ambition has a price. For Professor Craig Newman, that price was his soul. In exchange for a shortcut to his dream job, he unknowingly signed a contract with the Devil. Now, with the debt coming due, Grimm has arrived to collect. But this isn’t the final reaping Craig expected.

Hell, it seems, has gone corporate. The traditional business model of one-and-done damnation is no longer profitable. Instead, Craig is presented with a nightmarish opportunity: join the “eternal recruitment program” and enlist others in the Devil’s service to save himself. His targets are the very students he vowed to mentor—the young and ambitious of New Mexico State University.

As the body count rises and his deadline draws near, Craig must confront the true cost of his ambition. Every lesson plan is a sales pitch, every late-night study session an opportunity for a deal. Can a man who sold his own soul condemn his students to an eternity of torment to buy himself a little more time? The answer lies in the ledger of souls Craig must fill, one hopeful student at a time.
