JuliAnne Murphy is a two time bestselling author of The Gringo Guides to Panama and has overcome unbelievable odds and found success in many aspects of her life. JuliAnne grew up in a small town in Arkansas and set her sights on breaking the glass ceiling for women well before she even left high school. She attended the University of Arkansas - in both Fayetteville and Little Rock, receiving her education in marketing and communications, and has twenty five years of experience in the industries of banking, telecommunications, government and real estate development, with a specialization in launching massive startup landmark properties. She redefined the role of a marketing and communications executive when she worked for an international developer in Central America., which served as the backdrop for her 2018 memoir, Dream Job: Shattering the Glass Ceiling Comes at a Price.

After living abroad for ten years in Panama and Costa Rica, JuliAnne and her husband recently relocated back to her home state of Arkansas.
