About the Author
Ruth Knoblock is a leader of women's Bible studies and prayer groups. She presents workshops on Prayer, and Friendship with God, and is a guest speaker at retreats and other gatherings. She is a much sought-after mentor of women of all ages. Her passion is to see men and women embrace their true identity in Christ and become all God created them to be. Ruth raised five children with her husband, Jim. She loves to travel, and has lived in nine different states, including California, New York, New Mexico, and Idaho, where she currently resides. She revels in God's creation, and loves to be outdoors. In her youth, she was pitcher on her softball team, and a chapter in this book, describing the tale of her "roller derby award" demonstrates not only her zest for life, but also her active sense of humor. Blessed with a beautiful singing voice, she loves music, especially the song, "You Raise Me Up" because , she says, "It describes my whole life's experience." One of Ruth's favorite things to do on a cold winter's day is to curl up with a good book, a warm comforter, and a hot vanilla latte.
