GRIT is southern-fried sword and sorcery: a pulp fantasy romp as gleeful as it is grisly.
When a simple hunt spirals into an occult war, Barrow and Ari must put aside their grudges—or be crushed by the cult that ends the world.
From feral packs of bog-hounds to goblin gang wars, Old Man Barrow's solved plenty of problems with the swing of his axe... but when a routine troll hunt spirals into a brush with a would-be doomsday cult, he may be in more trouble than he can chop his way out of. Saddled with Ari, a sharp-tempered witch with little patience for his blood-soaked ways, Barrow is dragged into grotesque occult rituals, the jeering warbles of trash-talking songbirds, and a fight he can't win on his own...whether he admits it or not.

About the Author
Brian Wickman is a writer and public librarian from Baltimore, Maryland, where he resides with his steadfast pit bull. He is the co-creator and writer of comics like BIG WHITE, GRIT, and LIEGE, and a passionate advocate for the freedom to read.
Kevin Castaniero is a freelance illustrator hailing from sunny California. With a few comics under his belt (Grit, You’ve been Cancelled, War of the Worlds: Thunderchild) he spends most of his day watching Heat on repeat, petting cats and drawing cantankerous old men.
Simon Gough is a UK-based colourist, living on the sunny shores of Brighton by the sea. He lives a lonely existence in his tiny, dark office, besieged throughout the day by the unanswerable questions of two pre-teen sons and a wife who doesn't "understand" comics. He has art credits from DC to Zenescope, and everyone in between, and has worked on titles such as Batman, The Field, Ringside, and G.I. Joe. Over the last 15 years, he's forgotten more things he's worked on than he can actually remember.
Micah Myers has lettered stories and books for DC Comics, Image, Dark Horse, IDW, Mad Cave, Webtoon, Devil’s Due, Heavy Metal, Aspen, Starburns, Scout, Darby Pop, and many others. He has worked on comics with Steve Orlando, Matthew Erman, Magdalene Visaggio, Michael Avon Oeming, Mark Bertolini, Joe Corallo, Shane Berryhill, Cullen Bunn, Josh Blaylock, JT Krul, Chris Sebela, Curt Pires, and many more.
