Ground Ball Academy: Win the Ball. Win the Game.

The Boyce Bros Academy(TM) Ground Ball Academy teaches athletes that ground balls are far more than hustle plays-they are the foundation of possession, momentum, and winning lacrosse. Rather than focusing only on scooping technique, the book shows players how elite ground-ball specialists consistently win possessions through anticipation, body positioning, leverage, communication, and intelligent decision-making before the ball ever reaches their stick. It breaks down every phase of loose-ball play, from reading unpredictable bounces and winning contested 50/50 battles to mastering position-specific responsibilities for attackmen, midfielders, defensemen, faceoff wings, and goalies. Throughout the Academy, athletes learn that every ground ball is an opportunity to create offense, finish defensive stops, ignite transition, and ultimately change the outcome of a game.
