Catcheside was one of the great figures in post-war genetics who made numerous contributions to a variety of scientific areas. He also oversaw the first Australian department of genetics, and the Research School of Biological Sciences of the Australian National University. In 1936 Catcheside came to work at Caltech with all of the giant figures of genetics who had accumulated there including: Morgan, Sturtevant, Dobzhansky, & Emerson. This group of papers is a strong selection of his works from Cambridge, Birmingham and Australia, and fully represents his contribution to 20th century genetics. WITH: CATCHESIDE.
