Grover State

In the not-so-distant future, society is governed under the strict rule of law imposed by the Grover State government. Under the pretense of national safety and security, individuals are monitored and separated into predetermined classes. Megan Thomas has always been a law-abiding citizen. When her parents die in what appears to be a freak accident, her world is turned upside down. Now considered a 'Burden of the State', she's faced with a decision that will change everything she thought she knew about the world. In a world where freedom isn't free, how far is one girl willing to go in order to secure something she's never experienced?

T. C. Downer is an author and freelance writer. Downer is bilingual, fluent in both French and English (Canadian, eh). Downer completed a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Ottawa, and then went on to complete a Post-Graduate in Autism and Behavioural Science at George Brown College.
