How to Grow Roses

Since the beginning of recorded history, men have been writing about roses. Is is, therefore, no small undertaking to distill so many centuries of rose lore into one book. Take almost any aspect of the rose - history, culture, the roses themselves - and an entire volume could be devoted to it. Fortunately, experienced rosarians are not only knowledgeable but also have been very generous with their time in helping us select and evaluate basic information which would benefit the novice rose grower and tomorrow's dyed-in-the-wool rose enthusiast.
