About the Author:

Maureen Wright has written a number of popular picture books, including Sleep, Big Bear, Sneezy the Snowman (illustrated by Stephen Gilpin), Earth Day, Birthday! (illustrated by Violet Kim), and most recently, Barnyard Fun (illustrated by Paul Rátz de Tagyos). She lives with her family in Athens, Pennsylvania.

Amanda Haley graduated from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a B.F.A. degree in Painting and Drawing. She has illustrated greeting cards and many children’s books, including leveled readers and the popular title Snowzilla (written by Janet Larson). She lives with her husband and in the tidewater section of Virginia.
