Gryphon Rider Academy 3: Storm Front (A Young Adult Fantasy)

The moment Ari and I have trained for is here. We’re heading to war.

To support a war on two fronts, the military is relying on drafted soldiers and half-trained gryphon rider cadets like me. From the second we arrive, Ari and I are selected to join a dangerous strike force and tasked to carry an unstable mage into combat, who is likely to set us all ablaze by accident.

Back home, politics and infighting has split my nation in half. Many support Crown Prince Isaac’s reach for power, buying his talks of change and prosperity while Altare’s future hangs by a thread. I hope the traditional and spiteful King Cortes can decide what he stands for before the royal family brings our country to ruin.

Many people hope I don’t survive my time on the Storm Front, but I will stay alive despite all odds to graduate as the first knighted female gryphon rider. Ari and I have overcome too much to back down from extraordinary circumstances.

Dragon Riders of Pern meets Song of the Lioness in this YA fantasy series in which a pair of underdogs rewrite what’s possible in a formerly all-boys military academy and beyond. If you like determined heroines, iron-clad friendships, and majestic creatures, then you’ll love Gryphon Rider Academy!
