An oft-perused copy in faded blue buckram boards with no internal markings. Front hinge cracked and pulling from textblock. Rear hinge cracked with webbing conspicuous, but still holding. Wildlife-emblazoned 'Sportsman's Map of Alaska' endpapers are moderately age toned - the front free endpaper and half title page heavily so. Previous owner name of Captain in USMC on half title page. Page 333 creased and folded. MAP IS PRESENT enveloped in pasted-in rear pouch. Reprint, September 1943. In mylar.
