Of course, filling out the forms could pose a problem for many Asian Immigrants. They usually have trouble knowing how to fill out the form or which form to use for their situation. This book explains in simple terms what the small claim court is, how to use it, and how to start the litigation process. It gives step-by-step instructions on how to use the small claim court system, and provides instructions on how to fill out the various court forms. In the book there are common terms glossary, translation of the court forms, and different small claim court laws for all 50 states. It is a practical how-to law book for people that may need the small claim court system to protect their rights.

Daniel Deng is a licensed lawyer in Los Angeles, California. Born in Guandong, China, he studied English at the Shenzhen University¡¦s Foreign Language Department. In 1987 he studied News Media at California State University, Northridge (CSUN). Mr. Deng was also an intern reporter at NBC, and a local correspondent for the Los Angeles Times. Soon after, Mr. Deng entered the Chinese media circuit, working as a reporter for the International Daily and World Journal Daily for many years. He received his law degree from the Whittier Law School, and passed the California Bar Exam on his first attempt. Currently, he is working in the Los Angeles area, specializing in criminal and homicide cases. In 1998, Mr. Deng, in collaboration with Dr. Henry Lee, published his first book, Super Detective ¡V Henry Lee. Mr. Deng has a weekly Law Column in the Shingtao Daily and has made frequent guest appearances on local Chinese television and radio programs to introduce American Law to new immigrants. He is also a founding board member of the Chinese Consulting Committee for the LA County Police Office, and a board member for the Asian Youth Center.
