About the Author
Constance Hicks has been pushing forth new and innovative ideas for the past ten years. With over fifteen years of experience as an serial entrepreneur in education, finanical and insurance services, consulting, staffing solutions, and fashion. Constance specializes in small business entrepreneurship. Constance has worked professionally in stage productions for the past five years. She has held many lead roles in stage productions, one short film, "Love Lost" and supporting lead roles in another feature film, "Missing in Texas". Previously cast in Houston's Stage Plays such as "Wealth of the Wicked Part II and III", "Somebody's Else Husband", "For Better or Worse", "Girls Night Out", and "But He Said He Love Me". Constance has filmed as supporting leading role for a pilot television sitcom, My People, and leading role in two local commercials, "It's All Good" and "Get Rich or Die Trying". Constance lead several local Fashion Shows for non profit organizations with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and another non-profit organization "Hair Dreams by Cristal" which was feature on Debra Duncan. She was the Leading Fashion Coordinator for the annual Natural Nzuri Hair Festival in 2013. Constance had the opportunity in 2013 to assist styling the notable and Grammy Award winning artist, Erica Campbell of Mary Mary. Constance is not only a philanthropist. In 2011, she organized a non-profit organization, Hicks Help You Youth Foundation, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which gives and awards financial scholarships to unprivileged youth for extra-curricular sport activities. Hicks Help You Youth Foundation has awarded 100 scholarships to unprivileged children for the past three years. With several talents, small businesses, and overseeing a non-profit organization is making waves all love the City of Houston and beyond.
