Woodcuts and folding maps; 12mo 7" - 7½" tall; 293 pages; 1867 A. Williams & Co. HC Early printing of Pulsifer's pictorial guide with maps. Bound in original burgundy cloth with titles in gilt to cover and spine. Cloth lightly frayed with shallow chipping at spine ends; corners lightly bruised. Front endpages partially split in the hinge. Illustrated with woodcuts and folding maps. Facsimile plate at p 68 is largely torn away. Light dulling to cloth boards. Contents generally bright and neat. G+.
