JANE S. HALONEN, psychology professor, author, and critical thinking expert, is dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of West Florida. Renowned throughout academia for her efforts to improve student learning, she is the recipient of the 2000 American Psychological Foundation Award for Distinguished Teaching.
