Leighton outlines the historical evolution of Shrewsbury, discussing its origins from the Saxon period and its growth through the following centuries, discussing the heritage and geography of the town. Publisher's original wraps bound in. Rebound, with endpapers renewed. Undated, dated circa 1855 via the British Library. Rebound in calf backed cloth covered boards, with endpapers renewed. Externally, fine. Publisher's original wraps bound in, with loss to tail of front wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright. Very Good Indeed.
