Von Moschzisker and printed in Baltimore by Cushing and Bailey. 1856. 174 pp. 7.25 x 4.75 . 12mo. Hardcover full cloth. In fair condition, with some scuffing to boards. Some tearing to binding between head of spine and front board. Some cracking to hinges at front and rear. Light markings. Ex-library presentation bookplate from the Library of the Medical and Chirurgical Faculty of Maryland affixed to front pastedown. General age-related toning to pages, along with periodic foxing and wear. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing. A scarce early medical guide on eye diseases and treatments. By Franz Adolph Von Moschzisker, who wrote a variety of other medical texts, including a similar piece on ear afflictions and remedies.
