Undated (?mid-19th century]).Twentieth Stereotype Edition. Half calf leather and marbled boards with six gilt bands to decorated spine. Spine title on black leather patch. Some edgewear and scuffing to boards but overall a square, tight, clean copy, Pp xx, 760; full-page engravings of appropriate paintings by S. Rusell. Contents tight and clean; plates have the usual foxing in margins but not affecting illustration [except for frontis. which is more foxed and has a slight dampstain to top edge]; two pages have tears neatly taped. Dedication to blank endpaper:- 'Rebecca Sward [or Sword] from her loveing husband Feb 1883'. Images and/or more information available upon request.
