A Guide to Fancy Needlework and Embroidery with illustrative engravings

Miniature book measuring 4"x 2 1/2" (10.1x67mm). 80p with in text engravings.Undated and author unnamed but she also wrote "Woman! as Virgin, Wife and Mother", which was published in 1838. Probably c.1840. All original and without marks or signatures. Original yellow endpapers and all edges are gilt. Some age toning of the card covers and there is some splitting along the lower apart of the spine with a little loss. A rare survivor for such a delicate book. See Scans.
